5th Anniversary: James Baldwin ‘I am not your Negro’
This year our Black History event was the screening of the James Baldwin’s ‘I am not your Negro’ at Conway Hall in Holborn. It was a sold out event and LBA would like to send out a huge thank you to Dr Michelle Asantewa for presiding over the Q&A session that took place afterwards.
We also had an appearance from Sam Adeyemi from the Humanist Association of Nigeria, yes that is right, Nigeria has a Humanist association. Sam explained some of the obstacles that the organisation has had to go through in its 6 year struggle to gain recognition. London Black Atheist sends out its congratulation and support to all involved.
As there was such a great response to this event LBA has decided to show this film again at Conway hall on the 13 January 18. Follow the link below to book your tickets.
